The Let Youth Belong website has information for you about a variety of provincial, national and community support services.

If you feel like you don’t belong, have lived experiences of discrimination or have ever felt like an outcast in your own community, it can leave you with feelings of vulnerability, anger and hurt. It may even put you at greater risk for going down the wrong road and becoming involved with crime.

Have questions about SEX, DRUGS, or GANGS? We have resources for you. Check out these links for support and guidance on many issues facing today’s youth.

Read some of the real life experiences that inspired the Public Service Announcements which demonstrate the effects of : discrimination, racism, not having enough information to make life decisions, not having enough adult support and positive role models, choosing to lead a crime free lifestyle and the challenges of life on the street.

Let Youth Belong
'Don't Hate Integrate!' Forum

On December 4, 2012 Leadership students and English learner students from Rick Hansen Secondary and W.J. Mouat Secondary Schools in Abbotsford gathered at Rick Hansen Secondary for Let Youth Belong’s first ever Let Youth Belong Forum- ‘Don’t Hate- Integrate’

hosted by Diversity Education and Resource Services.

Students learned about diversity, power, privilege, stereotyping and discrimination. At the same time, they got to meet new people and make new friends.

In the afternoon, Katy and Jian from Neonology  led some fun and engaging activities relating to power, privilege, and the impact of words.
